An early morning fire in Oak Park took out prominent streetwear business the Wealthy Brand. The cause remains under investigation and the businesses in the area say the damage is widespread.
Gosport Manufacturing, which makes tarps and other industrial textiles, has been acquired by Philadelphia-based manufacturer D.C. Humphrys. Financial terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.
